Celebrating Our Staff

On Thursday, Sept 23 staff was presented with complimentary lunch bags in recongnition of achieving "Award Winning Care".

Luncheon for Bev

Bev C was honored Friday Sept 17 with a luncheon attended by co-workers. Bev began her career at Latrobe Lab in 1966. She attended classes at Pitt while training and working in the lab. She stated she received a stipend of $10 per week while in training.

Lab Celebrates Successful CAP Inspection

 On Thursday,  September 9 the LH Lab was treated to its unannounced CAP inspection.  On the surface everything progressed smoothly and only minimal deficiencies were cited.  In true lab style a successful inspection calls for a celebration.  (with food of course)

 OF course, the CAP binders still are on the shelves as the laboratorians eat lunch.

 Noting that you can't take the lab out of lab tech.....The Linda's observe the parallel testing of chocolate cake vs. white cake.
